Three Mohagen Hansen Architecture | Interiors projects were named award winners at the NAIOP MN 2020 Awards of Excellence program: Nolan Mains Residences, Crown Iron Works and Northern Stacks V.
NAIOP MN Awards of Excellence award recipients are selected by a panel of judges who evaluate the overall project development, architectural integrity, market feasibility, sustainability and the navigation of obstacles that make projects successful.
Nolan Mains was recognized as the Mixed Use category winner for 2020. Developed in Edina’s 50th and France shopping district, Nolan Mains sought to expand existing walkways, create a public plaza, provide additional parking for shops and dining and offer 100 new, luxury apartments.

Crown Iron Works was recognized as the Industrial Build-to-Suit category winner for 2020. This new building serves as the global headquarters for Crown Iron Works, a global supplier of oilseed extraction technology, refining plants and equipment. This relocation provided over 100 new jobs to the City of Blaine, MN.

Northern Stacks V was recognized as the Light Industrial – High Finish category winner for 2020. The team completed a renovation and relocation for new tenant, Heraeus Medical, in the Northern Stacks V building. This project included nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing area, 14,500 sq. ft. of warehouse space and over 18,000 sq. ft. of office space. As one among many international locations, this office utilizes technology to transform metals and alloys into useful medical device components around the world.
